Description of the Moshy Himalaya Nordic Duvet

A very hygienic, practical and comfortable Nordic duvet , with Lyocell fibre fabric obtained from cellulose extracted from sustainably managed forests, as well as hollow fibre with a helical structure which has a curl frequency close to 1 unit per millimetre .

INTERIOR FILLING. 100 % Ergotex ® Hollow Fiber. The The helical structure has an optimal curl frequency and length. Each filament is composed of a high temperature resistant polymer that surrounds another polymer with lower resistance (conjugated fiber) . After carding, we obtain a multi-layered wadding that gives the pillow a very soft touch , greater recovery capacity, slow aging and a very pleasant and voluminous general appearance .

WEIGHTS. This duvet is available in weights of 150, 400, 250 and 4 seasons (250+150) gr/m2 . of filling weight. A wide range of Himalaya models from which you can choose the one that best suits you, depending on your taste or the climate of your place of residence. You should take into account the average temperature of your room before choosing a particular weight for the duvet or buying a 4 seasons duvet and enjoy the comfort of a high quality duvet in any temperature range.

FABRIC. 75% Virgin and hollow fiber 100% polyester Ergotex ® . 25% Virgin Cellulosic Naturcell fiber . Lyocell fiber has a host of properties, including its high hygroscopicity, that is, the property of absorbing and then exhaling moisture . In addition, this fabric has a great capacity for protection against cold, heat or water and high resistance to traction and fatigue. A fiber that guarantees great comfort, a soft and pleasant touch, as well as increasing the useful life of the product.

BREATHABILITY. Thanks to its hollow channel and anti-allergic fibres, this Nordic duvet manages to maintain a high and constant volume, as these hollow fibres have the ability to constantly separate from each other and not clump together, thus providing a space between them through which air circulates, without dragging the heat trapped in the hollow channel of each filament.

THERMAL LEVEL 1,2 and 4 (Scale from 1 to 4). The Moshy Himalaya Nordic duvet has thermal level 1 for the 150 gr model, Level 2 for the 250 gr model, Level 4 for the 400 gr version, as well as level 4 for the DUO 250 + 150 gr/m2 version. Thermal Level 2, ideal for rooms between 19 ºC and 23 ºC and Thermal Level 4, ideal for rooms between 12 ºC and 20 ºC.

SAFETY OF USE. The Moshy Himalaya Nordic duvet features Ergotex ® hollow fibre , as well as 100% breathable fabric. Systems that allow the correct ventilation of the filling and fabric, avoiding the accumulation of humidity, which in turn does not allow the proliferation of mites or fungi, thus achieving a totally anti-allergic product, suitable even for people with allergies and/or respiratory problems.

How to choose the most suitable weight for me?

The most suitable Nordic for me must have a certain weight depending on the climate of the place where I live, and whether or not I use heating. Taking into account the geographical area of Spain as a reference, we give you some references.

• Weight: 150 gr/m2. This is a Nordic fabric for northern summers or spring/autumn on the southern Mediterranean coast up to Valencia, that is, suitable when the room temperature is between 20 ºC and 24 ºC, with the optimum being 22 ºC.
• Weight of 250 gr/m2. Suitable for spring/autumn in the north and centre, as well as for winters in the south of the Mediterranean coast, and/or for climates in the north/centre of Spain in heated rooms, i.e. for rooms with temperatures between 19 ºC and 23 ºC, with the optimum being 21 ºC.
• Weight: 400 gr/m2. This is a duvet for cold winters such as those in the north and centre of Spain, suitable for short winter periods on the eastern Mediterranean coast when the cold is more intense, but in any case, ideal for rooms with temperatures below 19 ºC.
• Duo (100+250 gr/m2). This is a 4-season duvet suitable for all year round, but be careful! Not for all year round in Spain. On the Mediterranean coast where summer nights are often hot, it is not necessary to use any type of duvet, no matter how light it is, so at mueblesdecasa.net we always recommend buying a duvet like the Himalaya Duo, as it will be cheaper in the long run and you will save space, as long as you do not live, as mentioned above, on the Mediterranean coast.

Maintenance and preservation of a Moshy fibre duvet

Washing, drying and preservation. The Himalaya duvet is suitable for washing in any type of domestic washing machine, as long as it is washed at a maximum temperature of 60 ºC in short cycles and with a very gentle spin cycle, do not iron, do not bleach and can be dried at a maximum of 60 ⁰C.

How to store the duvet? Both from mueblesdecasa.net and from Moshy, we recommend using the bag or case from which they are taken out for the first time, or alternatively buy breathable cotton bags specially prepared for the purpose.
