Features of the Moshy Abril Nordic Duvet
This Moshy Abril Nordic duvet has 2 layers of 250 gr in the Duo option and its main characteristics are comfort, versatility and great breathability. Designed to offer both a natural shelter on the coldest nights and light warmth in temperate areas.
INTERIOR FILLING. 100 % Natural virgin cotton fibre Naturalia . This is a Micronaire carded virgin cotton, in which the longest and most resistant filaments of the cotton flower are selected to obtain Naturfil, an exclusive and patented filling, composed of 100% carded virgin natural cotton, a cotton with a great thermal insulation absorption capacity.
Naturalia cotton is an eco-friendly cotton that has been awarded the European ECOLABEL .
WEIGHTS. This duvet is available in weights of 400, 250 and 4 seasons (250+250) gr/m2 . of filling weight. A wide range of Abril models from which you can choose the one that best suits you, depending on your taste or the climate of your place of residence. You should take into account the average temperature of your room before choosing a particular weight for the duvet or buying a 4 seasons duvet and enjoying the comfort of a high quality duvet in any temperature range.
FABRIC. 100% Undyed white cotton. This is the simplest and most effective way of crossing threads in this case cotton. A system in which each warp thread is placed alternately above and below each weft thread, with the effect being the same on the right side as on the wrong side. In addition, this provides great flexibility and breathability to the fabric.
BREATHABILITY. Thanks to its hollow channel and anti-allergic fibres, this duvet maintains a high and constant volume, as these hollow fibres have the ability to constantly separate from each other and not clump together, thus providing a space between them through which air can circulate, without dragging the heat trapped in the hollow channel of each filament.
THERMAL LEVEL 1,2,3 and 4 (Scale from 1 to 4). The Abril Nordic duvet from Moshy has thermal level 2 for the 250 gr model, Level 4 for the 400 gr version, as well as level 4 also for the DUO 250 + 150 gr/m2 version. Thermal Level 2, ideal for rooms between 19 ºC and 23 ºC and Thermal Level 4, ideal for rooms between 12ºC and 20ºC.
SAFETY OF USE. The Moshy Abril duvet is 100% cotton with an ecological finish on both the filling and the fabric, allowing the filling and fabric to air properly, preventing the build-up of moisture, which in turn prevents the proliferation of mites and fungi, thus achieving a completely hypoallergenic product, suitable even for people with allergies and/or respiratory problems.
How to choose the duvet weight that best suits me?
The most suitable Nordic for me must have a certain weight depending on the climate of the place where I live, and whether or not I use heating. Taking into account the geographical area of Spain as a reference, we give you some references.
- Weight of 250 gr/m2. Suitable for spring/autumn in the north and centre, as well as for winters in the south of the Mediterranean coast, and/or for climates in the north/centre of Spain in heated rooms, i.e. for rooms with temperatures between 19º C and 23º C, with the optimum being 21º C.
- Weight: 400 gr/m2. This is a Nordic duvet for cold winters such as those in the north and centre of Spain, suitable for short winter periods on the eastern Mediterranean coast when the cold is more intense, but in any case, ideal for rooms with temperatures below 19º C.
- Duo (250+250 gr/m2). This is a 4-season duvet suitable for all year round, but be careful! It is not suitable for all year round in Spain. On the Mediterranean coast, where summer nights are often hot, it is not necessary to use any type of duvet, no matter how light it is, so at mueblesdecasa.net we always recommend buying a duvet like the Abril Duo, as it will be cheaper in the long run and you will save space, as long as you do not live, as mentioned above, on the Mediterranean coast.

Maintenance and preservation of a Moshy fibre duvet
Washing, drying and care. The Abril duvet is suitable for washing in any type of domestic washing machine, as long as it is washed at a maximum temperature of 60 ºC in short cycles and with a very gentle spin cycle, do not iron, do not bleach and can be dried at a maximum of 60 ⁰C.
How to store the duvet? Both at mueblesdecasa.net and Moshy, we recommend using the bag or case from which they are first removed, or alternatively, buying breathable cotton bags specially prepared for the purpose.
